The city two drop off locations for the recycling of other acceptable Christmas or holiday materials. They are the City of Branson’s full-service recycling center, located at 550 Compton Drive and a 24/7 recycle trailer at the Branson United Methodist Church parking lot, located at 1208 W 76 Country Blvd, next to the Veterans Museum. Pettit encourages everyone to recycle the cardboard boxes, plastic bottles and cans that tend to pile up during the holidays.

Both facilities have 24/7 recycle trailers where items can be left anytime. Staff is available at the Compton Drive full-service facility from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Items acceptable for drop off are “all cans, plastic bottles and jugs, glass food and beverage containers, cardboard, catalogs, greeting cards, envelopes, and clean paper.” Items not acceptable for drop off are “styrofoam, plastic bags, plastic wrap/film, small pieces of plastic like straws, candy wrappers and cutlery.”
