First ever New Years events at Silver Dollar City and the Showboat Branson Belle

For the first time ever, Silver Dollar City presents an event for families to ride, dance and play into the New Year: the “New Year’s Celebration.” The park will be open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day with rides and special entertainment, and the Showboat Branson Belle adds a New Year’s Day cruise.

At Silver Dollar City’s New Year’s Celebration, entertainment includes:

A dance party with Members Only, a tribute band performing the hits of the ‘80s from bands like Chicago, Journey and Kansas

Christian Rock with the Dove Award-winning band Disciple, with 14 number one singles

World-renowned juggler and comedian, Albert Lucas, with numerous Guinness World Records for juggling

The group AYO, seen on America’s Got Talent and voted the number 1 morning show in Branson

The Golden Age of radio broadcast KSDC, an original music and comedy show in the Silver Dollar Saloon

Hours are: 11 am to 7 pm December 31, and Noon to 8 pm on Jan. 1. Plus, the park’s rides are running, weather permitting, and the 6.5 million holiday lights are on.

The Showboat Branson Belle’s first ever New Year’s Day cruise is at 4 pm, featuring the Celebrate Christmas show. New Year’s Eve cruises are at 4 and 8 pm, with the 8 pm cruise including music, dancing, and a countdown to the New Year with sparkling grape juice and party favors.

Silver Dollar City’s “An Old Time Christmas” runs through December 30 (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), then opens for the New Year’s Celebration.
