The corner of 76 Country Boulevard and Gretna Road in Branson will have an exciting nighttime glow when the Titanic Museum Attraction lights it’s outside entrance with more than 1,500 enchanting festival lights, luminaries, to welcome visitors. The festival lights, part of the Titanic’s Edwardian Christmas celebration will be on display over Thanksgiving Weekend, November 23 – 27.
“Our luminaries will honor the men, women and children who sailed on RMS Titanic’s maiden voyage,” says co-owner, Mary Kellogg-Joslyn. “The addition of the festival lights to the ship’s lavish Edwardian Christmas interior décor, follows a century’s old, holiday tradition that’s meant to remind us of Mary and Joseph’s search for a lodging in Bethlehem. This spiritual, tradition of welcome has continued into modern times as a way of guiding travelers to their destination,” adds Kellogg-Joslyn.
Titanic’s luminaries will be a feast for the eyes, providing stunning, outside photo ops for selfies, friends and followers. Visitors can purchase tickets to continue the special yuletide celebration inside Titanic, where the ship’s crew will be waiting to take guests on an imagined holiday voyage aboard the RMS Titanic.
So, whether you’re continuing a Branson family tradition or starting a new one, we invite you to join us in giving thanks and sharing blessings of the season at the Titanic Museum Attraction.
