Branson’s Shepherd of the Hills has a new farmer’s market for Branson locals and visitors to enjoy. It’s open every Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. until October 18.

New Farmer’s Market

At the Shepherd of the Hills Farmer’s Market, you can buy baked goods from Madeline Patisseries, produce from D and D Farms, Country Barn, and Hillbilly Hippy Farms, cool and unique jewelry from Kibō Creations and Eco Chic, as well as other interesting and unusual creations and designs from a multitude of talented people.

Market Manager for the Shepherd’s Farmer’s Market, Tracey Gideon, said, “We’re getting lots of new vendors coming in every week. We wanted to create and start a community-wide event that would incorporate local produce, handmade crafts, and baked good items.”

The Shepherd’s Farmer’s Market believes in the philosophy of, ‘Homemade, homegrown, or handmade,’ so much that to sell at the farmer’s market, your product must fall into one of those three categories. If you are interested in being a vendor, you can call Gideon at 417-334-4191.

Gideon went on to say, “We’re getting a lot of various vendors from all over. From as far as Mountain Grove to Springfield, we have people here from Nixa, Ozarks, Seymour—so they’re coming. Every week we’re getting more people.”

2019 is the first year that the Shepherd of the Hills has hosted a farmer’s market. They are planning on continuing the market next year as well.
